Friends of Local Control is a non-profit Oregon corporation created to explore the feasibility of forming a city, and to educate the community about issues facing our area.

Friends of Local Control was formed by a group of residents involved with the Oak Lodge/Jennings Lodge community. The group believes that with all of the significant changes facing the area, now is the time to explore the feasibility of forming a city. We welcome all of our neighbors to join us in this citizen-driven effort.

How You Can Help

Get involved! We need your help. There is much research to do in determining the feasibility of becoming a city. Friends of Local Control is a group of your neighbors working to provide information for the community to review. All efforts are volunteer, and your help is welcome. Send an email and put "Volunteer" in the subject line.

Make a donation! Friends of Local Control would like to commission a professionally conducted opinion survey of area residents to find out how they feel about governance, local control and incorporation. Your financial contribution will help get this done. Contributions are not tax deductible, but do support an important community effort.
